Solitaire for Android

Dec 30, 2008, 12:29am EST

My girlfriend, Katherine, has been playing a lot of Baker’s Game solitaire on her iPhone (it’s available as a free app). I don’t have an iPhone and wanted to play the same game on my G1. I wasn’t able to find the game in the Android Market, but one of the solitaire games is open source and contains Freecell. So I went ahead and forked the code to add Baker’s Game.

If you’re viewing the source, you want to be on the solitaire_plus branch.

Next, I’ll write an Android app from scratch.

Is your git “source” link still operating? http://ponderer.org/git/solitaire-for-android/ I’m new to git, so I may be doing something wrong, but if I try cloning this in eclipse it tells me that the connection is refused.

Thanks, Steve

Hi Steve,

Sorry, I stopped hosting my own git repos. I’ve pushed a mirror onto github: https://github.com/idealisms/solitaire-for-android/tree/solitaire_plus

Thanks. I cloned it, although I still haven’t figured out how to get it into eclipse. I’ll work on that.
