I love covers.

Here’s a small command line script for downloading music album covers from Amazon.com (download). It allows you to quickly (and automatically) download JPG images of album covers. I used it to create a local copy of over 300 album covers for my music page.

It’s written in python and ought to be cross platform.

Alternately, there is Slothdog’s Amazing CD / Album Cover Finder, a web page that does the same thing.

Thanks. This will come in handy.

Someone should try to integrate something like it into MythTV (if it doesn't already do that).

Hmm...which works better? I tried the website one to find a single cover and it didn't find it. Am I just out of luck if I listen to out of print CDs?

I don't know what Slothdog's site does, mine simply removes common words and runs a regular Amazon.com search (so, it should be the same as if you just type in a search from their main page). If you can't find the album on Amazon or there's no picture for the item, you're out of luck.
